The prestigious City of Liverpool Business Awards has shortlisted DefProc Engineering for the Best Innovation & Tech Business of the Year 2023. Best Innovation & Tech Business

At DefProc, innovation is what we do best. From river-level sensors for the Environment Agency to projection-mapped games in Leeds and Liverpool, we revel in taking abstract ideas and transforming them into real-life projects.

2022 marked our most successful year to date. We celebrated a record turnover, several high-profile projects, including H2Go, and the retention of our small, dedicated team. We also won a highly coveted Innovate UK grant for our latest project, SmUPS

DefProc offers an extensive range of bespoke services, such as CAD, software, project scoping and mechanical engineering. The projects we’ve worked on in the past year have taken us all over the country, offering our expertise to a wide range of clients.

It is fantastic to have made it onto the City of Liverpool Business Awards shortlist. Like many businesses, the last eighteen months have been challenging for us. We have juggled the fallout of the pandemic, followed by the cost of living crisis. However, the expansion of our services outside the Liverpool City Region has been integral to our success. We are proud to be one of the many businesses in the region fuelling economic growth through technology and innovation.
